Tanzania. For the next two days, we'll have an in-depth exploration of the Amboseli in the company of our crew who will delightfully share with us the intrigues of the Amboseli. During our morning and evening game drives expect to see huge herds of elephants wallowing in the swamp, giraffes, buffaloes, lions among others against the spectacular backdrop of the snow capped roof of Africa; Mt. Kilimanjaro. We enjoy an excellent cuisine and overnight at the Amboseli Serena lodge (B, L, D)
Plant life includes Acacia woodlands and open bush grasslands. Animals commonly sighted include the African elephant, Maasai giraffe, lesser kudu, spotted hyena, Burchells zebra, and impala. Birdlife is spectacular with over 250species recorded, three of them being endemic to the Kasigau area. We arrive in time for lunch Kiwanjani eco lodge. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy 15000 acres of exclusive wilderness with day and night game drives or simply relax by the lounge overlooking the waterhole where the beasts gather for a drink.
Better still, we could take a visit to the villages to interact with the local Taita community and visit some of the community projects that Kiwanjani eco lodge has been supporting. Overnight Kiwanjani eco lodge (B, L, D)
